Schizophrenia Mnemonic

Hai guys.

Today I would like to share on how to memorise schizophrenia and other disease related to it.

🧠Negative symptoms : 5 A's

1.Anhedonia

2.Alogia(poverty of speech)

3.Avolition(apathy)

4.Affect(flat)

5.Attention(poor)

Schizophrenia, schizophreniform and brief psychotic disorder symptoms are also "DHSBN".

The difference is only in duration of the disease.

✅Schizophrenia :

6 months or more

✅Schizophreniform :

1 month - 6 months

✅Brief psychotic disorder :

1 day - 1 month
